Baby #3

So here's a picture I took of my ultrasound picture since we don't have a scanner. It's baby's profile. You can see his little fist by his face. This was about 2 weeks ago. I'm 34 weeks today. It's getting closer and I can't wait. This baby has so much energy. He seriously is kicking non-stop. Sleeping is difficult with all the movement but I'm managing. Anyways, just wanted to share that with all of you.

Silly kids

Here are some recent pictures of the kids. Ku'uliko loves to make funny faces for the camera. Kalei has been catching flies in his sleep. The video is of Kalei giving kisses to Ku'uliko and shoving her face away. He can be so rough sometimes and so can Ku'uliko. They both don't mind.
These past couple of days have been rough for the kids. Ku'uliko threw up on Monday night, all Tuesday and yesterday morning. I took her to the doctor and he says its a stomach flu that's been going around. She had a fever and she wasn't eating much. It was a little scary but she's fine now. Then Kalei was throwing up all last night. I don't think it was the same thing. He's okay now but I'm pretty sure that it was caused by him eating a crayon after he had finished eating dinner. It was pretty gross. Kainoa gave them both a blessing. They're fine now and we're grateful for that.
Everything is going well. Baby is constantly kicking and making me uncomfortable. Just 6 1/2 more weeks to go. I can't wait. My mom's coming down on the March 7th so I'm so excited. My dad will also be coming down later in March and Kainoa's mom is coming on March 20th. It's going to be great having the family around. Hopefully I'll make it to March 10th for my c-section but if I go into labor before that then they'll deliver the baby. I've never carried any of my kids for longer than 38 weeks so we'll see. I'll try to keep this updated. A hui hou!

Answered prayers

So I had another ultrasound this past Friday and we received some very good news. This was the second time that I went to a specialist. They usually have an assistant or nurse do an ultrasound first and then the doctor does one right after. The assistant looked at everything and said the baby was healthy and doing good and of course she checked the kidneys last. She said that they were normal. Well they actually hadn't changed in size since the last time I went in which was about 2 months ago. So the size that they are now is the normal size. There was just an overwhelming feeling of relief that swept over me. I started to cry. I just kept thanking Heavenly Father over and over again in my mind. It's been so difficult to think that something that I couldn't control was wrong with the baby and now that he's perfectly fine, I feel so happy and so grateful. I know a lot of people were praying for us, especially our families and we wanted to thank you all.
On the funnier side of things, the doctor pointed out the baby's hair to me and said that he already has a lot of hair. I still have 8 more weeks to go so she said that the hair would probably grow even more. Well at least we know that the baby won't be bald. Also he weighed in at about 4 lbs. 13 oz. and I'm measuring a week ahead. I'm not sure if that changes the date of my c-section or not but we'll see when I have my doctor's appointment this week.
Well I just wanted to update all of you with that. I hope that everyone is doing fine. Take care and we love you all.

Long time no blog

Hey everyone. Happy New Year! Sorry it's been so long. We had a very busy Christmas vacation. It was awesome.
First of all, Kainoa's dad and Kaitlyn came down and we all drove to Vegas to watch the Vegas Bowl. We met Kainoa's mom, his sister Leimomi, and the Todds there. We stayed at the Excalibur hotel. We were there for 3 nights. Sadly BYU lost but we were so happy that RJ got to play. It was all worth it. He made a great block that led to a touchdown. He was even highlighted on ESPN. We're so proud of him and excited to watch him play more next year.
When we got back, we spent one night at our house, then went over to American Fork and slept over at the Todds. We wanted to spend as much time together as we could. This was the first time since we were married that Kainoa's entire family was together. We had a great Christmas and New Year's. We even were able to watch a movie. Kainoa's mom wanted to take her boys to watch Twilight. I had no objections. It was my second time watching it. I won't mention how many time his mom, dad, sister, and Kaitlyn watched it =).
It was sad when they had to leave the day after New Year's. It's always sad to see them go. Mom Willing will be back in March but who knows when we'll be able to see Dad Willing, Leimomi and Kailtyn again.
Speaking of March, I'm so excited. I have about 9 more weeks to go with this pregnancy. Crazy huh. I'm really popping out now. People at church were telling me that they could hardly tell I was pregnant before but now I'm starting to really show. I just had a doctor's appointment this past week. Every thing looks good so far. My c-section (yikes!) is scheduled for March 10th. I'm getting a c-section because my old doctor recommended it since my last two deliveries were difficult ones. I'm a little scared of being cut open and for the recovery. My mom should be here before my c-section if I don't go into labor before that. I just worry about the kiddies. I know we have family here that can take care of them but I'll miss them when we're in the hospital.
I don't think I mentioned this before but a couple of months ago the doctor found that the baby's kidneys were a little dialated or mildly enlarged. It was quite a scare for us. It could probably fix itself but if not surgery would have to be done after the baby was born. It's also linked to Down syndrome. We went in to a specialist and had another ultrasound done and the kidneys still look enlarged but just a little. They're just going to keep watching it and hopefully it will be okay. I also spoke to a genetics counselor and she informed me that the rest of my tests came back normal and that I didn't have anything to worry about. Yeah, like I wouldn't worry. I'm doing better now and pretty much left it up to Heavenly Father. I figured I shouldn't worry about things that I can't change. I know that everything will be fine. I have another ultrasound this Friday and I'll try and get back on here with an update. We've been praying and we know that we'll love this baby no matter what happens.
We love you all and hope that it won't take me more than a month to get another blog in. A hui hou!
